Welcome to my bird book!

Day Shots | Night shots | We're getting close. | A sneak peak. | The engine in stock trim (almost) I. | The engine in stock trim (almost) II | How it was in the sixties. | The new motor is getting ready for what's next. | So what's next I? | So what's next II? | On the Dyno | In the car!

Well, here it is, a 1969 Firebird. From far away it looks like most other birds. However, take a look at the emblems on the hood scoops and the rocker panels. Check out the red line on the tach and you may wonder what kind of bird is this. It is a 4.1 litre single overhead cam inline six cylinder. The brainchild of John DeLorean this motor produces 230 HP in stock trim. Not bad for 250 cubic inches.

Take a look a some of the other pictures and see something you won't see everyday.

The tab "how it was in the sixties" has two huge scanned images if you can wait the download it's worth it !!
