You won't believe what this little six banger will do!!

Day Shots | Night shots | We're getting close. | A sneak peak. | The engine in stock trim (almost) I. | The engine in stock trim (almost) II | How it was in the sixties. | The new motor is getting ready for what's next. | So what's next I? | So what's next II? | On the Dyno | In the car!

Passenger side view showing the Powerdyne Blower unit and duct work. The two blue couplers are marine exhaust components - worked great.

Driver side view showing the carburator bonnet, all braided fuel lines and the temp. sensors mounted on the individual header tubes. The temperature was very close on all tubes - hard to believe on an in-line six cylinder, thanks to the Clifford Manifold.

Front view showing the whole setup. That highly polished cam belt cover is cast aluminum and from a 1966 OHC. The 68's were made from plastic.

Command central for the dyno. Upper righthand corner is the tachometer and you can see the bottom portion of the computer monitor to the left. If you look close enough you will see the motor behind the glass.  And the numbers are:      411 HP at 6000 RPM and it was still climbing!!!  373 ft./lbs at 5300 RPM.  Now that little six banger is going to eat a lot of V-8's.
